“Butterflies,” Orange peel moses' upcoming single, is an intimate, insect-infused confessional inspired thematically by Cirque du Soleil's Ovo and musically by UK duo The xx. Peel has been fascinated with bugs since he studied entomology in 4-H as a kid, and has been an entomophagist – an avid edible insect connoisseur – since stiltwalking at a 2013 Denver TEDx event featuring Rocky Mountain Micro Ranch founder Wendy Lu McGill. The original mix of “Butterflies” was helmed by Nigerian producer Daniel Iyere (Elixir Tune) and features the Ghosthouse' Rich G. on guitar and vocal production from San Francisco-based Casey Collins. Remixes are courtesy of Axis Youth and a Denver producer/vocalist who occasionally delivers singing telegrams on Peel's behalf – Joman.
“Butterflies” releases 4/20/20 to Amazon, Beatport, iTunes, Spotify and Traxsource via Carma Studio.
