Mexican artist Diego Glazer makes his American debut with a unique exhibition of 15 lavishly executed oil paintings: Each piece is an inspired visual illustration of the music and story created by Rush for their 1978 progressive rock concept novel, “Cygnus X-1 Parts 1 & 2: The Voyage & Hemispheres.” Hemispheres incorporates the mythological conflict and integration of Apollo and Dionysus as well as elements of science fiction. 

Please join us for an opening event on Thursday, August 4 from 6:00 -8:30 PM. Wine, cheese, and other refreshments will be served. The evening will include a special performance art piece as well as the music behind the visual art.

Orange peel is doing an interpretive reading of the Rush lyrics that inspired the exhibition.
